This site is here so that I
can share my love of tortoises with others, promote responsible
captive breeding, and to shamelessly show off my shelled family.

Meet my Shelled Family!
This Gallery is loaded with photos of my tortoises. I hope you enjoy the pictures and captions and get to know my “kids”.
I keep Leopards, Redfoots and Cherryhead Redfoots . Nearly half of my tortoises are adopted and many of them are survivors of abuse and neglect. It’s my goal to give them the best life possible. They deserve nothing less. Some of them may look different due to their previous life, but in my eyes they are beautiful. They are living testaments of strength and endurance; surviving until someone was willing to help them.
Tortoises for Sale |
As will happen when you care for a lot of tortoises, I now have several
captive bred hatchlings. I am what you might call an accidental breeder
turned hobby breeder. Responsible captive breeding is the only way to
lessen the number of tortoises taken from the wild to be sold in U.S.
pet shops. Yep, in case you didn’t know it, most of the tortoises sold
in pet stores are wild caught. It is my hope that for every captive
bred tortoise sold, there is one less wild tortoise snatched from its
native land.
Even if you are not in the market to buy a Redfoot, Cherryhead, or Leopard tortoise, take a look at my babies. They are unbelievably cute!
